Machine 406 - Finger Misses

If you're experiencing finger misses, check the following:

Score Assembly

  1. Ensure the assembly is properly balanced.

  2. Check for even pull – not too tight and not slipping.

  3. If the bag is slipping along the full length, lightly tighten the assembly.

 

Tape Condition

  1. Inspect the tape for damage or crushing.

  2. If the tape is crushed, the score may be too tight – adjust accordingly.

  3. Replace damaged tape and reset the settings.

  4. Use .010” tape for standard use, and switch to .003” tape if slippage occurs during the length of the bag.
