Is the former straight? | No: Measure the front and back distance per setup sheet. Solution: Straighten the former and measure again. |
Are feed rollers in good condition and correctly located? | No: Check feed rollers for high/low spots and check their diameter. Solution: Replace feed rollers if needed. |
Is the silver roller installed before the feed rollers? | No: Visually check if the silver roller is installed. Solution: Add a silver roller. |
Is the paper wrapping tight on the former? | No: Check if the web is tight on the former. Solution: Adjust disks to tighten the web (move back disks out and front disks in). Adjust former rollers. |
Are bags tracking well on belts in section #1? | No: Check if the edges of bags are catching on belt edges or if the belt is tracking on the seam edge. Solution: Move belts in section #1 to avoid the bag edge or seam edge. |
Are belts in PHL correctly located and tensioned? | No: Check belt locations and tension. Solution: Position and tension belts as per SOP. |
