Follow the lockout procedure to lockout machine
Remove Guard
Turn off anilox roller
Unlock the flood roller & open up the flood rollers
Place the ink pail under the ink well valve and install a small drain hose if needed. open the valve to drain the ink and lower the ink well.
Use the squeegee to remove as much ink as possible.
Close the valve and cover the ink pail.
place an empty ink pail under the ink well valve.
Install a small drain hose if needed.
Open the valve to drain the water to run out.
Remove side guards, Raise the ink well back up
Apply flexo cleaner to the anilox rollers to break down the ink.
Using a hose, spray water between the two anilox/flood rollers. Use plenty of water to prevent the drain from clogging.
Rotate the rollers by hand until they are fully cleaned.
Wipe rollers with a mix of alcohol and water.
Dry the anilox/flood rollers thoroughly.
Lower the ink well as shown in the video (hold the handle, lift the lever, and slowly lower the handle.)
Tilt the ink well towards you to drain the water.
Close the valve (remove the hose if needed.)
Lift the ink well by pulling it towards you.
take the ink well to the sink.
Scrub off all ink and rinse until it is completely clean.
Return the ink well to its original position.
Wipe off and dry any remaining water residue on the anilox rollers.
After drying, spray white grease on the side of the rollers and guards. Add all guards back in place.
